About 15 months ago, T. and I got it in our heads that we wanted to sweep a bunch of our favorite people off to a woodsy location for a springtime retreat. A year ago, a bunch of them indulged us. We talked about making shorter to-do lists and where “home” is and what goes into the world’s best sandwich. We wrote and played silly games and ate nourishing food.
